
Kenedea Lee

Kenedea Lee is a composer-pianist known for her ability to blend classical and jazz idioms, forging a distinctive and dynamic compositional style. Kenedea's music has been described as "harmonically warm" and "colorfully rich," often marked by its rich textures and emotive depth. She earned her Bachelor of Arts in Ethnomusicology from UCLA in 2021, where she studied piano and composition under the guidance of Sanaz Rezei and Michael Bryan Stein. Kenedea went on to earn her Masters in Classical Composition from the Manhattan School of Music in 2024, where she studied with the esteemed composer Susan Botti. Kenedea's work has been commissioned by a variety of groups and organizations, including Carnegie Hall, the Greenwich Village Singers, the Vision Quartet, the Vocal Consort, Leipzig, the Sing Me A Story organization, amongst others.
